Quantity 1804 tons rubberized asphalt, covers 3600 lf of roadway
Approximately 1100 cu. yds was "rubblized" covering 2500 lf of roadway
Cost Rubberized Asphalt: $37.20/ton compared to conventional asphalt on same project cost $27.60 ton
Rubblizing concrete pavement cost $4.55 per sq. yd.
Cost savings or increase Rubberized asphalt cost approximately 35% more than convewntional asphalt on this project

Would you buy this product again? Yes.
Why or why not? Will continue to pursue use of rubberized asphalt on a trial basis. Rubblizing is an effective constreuction technique for certain site-specific conditions.
Comments Traffic noise levels were monitored before and after the overlay. Results: to date, no differences in traffic noise have been observed between the different pavement types. Overall, noise was reduced by 2.6 - 4.8 decibels due to the overlay, but it was not dependent on pavement type
