Professional/A&E

Requests for design, professional and technical Consultant services originate from all King County departments and agencies. Listed below are a few examples of departments and types of consultant projects.

NOTE: Consultants must direct all questions about Request for Proposals (RFP's) and Request for Quotations (RFQ's) to the assigned Contract Specialist. The Specialist's name and phone number are listed in the RFP/Q.

Go to Solicitations menu tab to access current advertisements, addenda, proposer lists and other information. Details about selection processes, timelines, qualifications, etc., differ for each project and can be found within each RFP/Q. Access Solicitations ( A&E and Prof. Services/ Open) for projects currently advertised. To determine the status of RFP/Q after the due date, access either Solicitations ( A&E and Prof. Services/Closed) or Solicitations ( A&E and Prof. Services/Awarded), depending on the evaluation/award process stage.

Project Types include design and environmental analysis of new construction, repairs & replacement of tunnels, trenches, pipe lines, lift stations, landfill projects, treatment plants, machinery and buildings.
