Construction

King County construction projects originate from several departments. Listed below are departments and types of construction projects.

NOTE: Contractors must direct all questions to the assigned Contract Specialist. The Specialist's name and phone number are listed in the Invitations to Bid (ITB).

Go to Solicitations menu to access advertisements, addenda, plan holders lists and other information. Access Solicitations (Construction/Open) for projects currently advertised. To determine the status of ITB's after the due date, access either Solicitations (Construction/Closed) or Solicitations (Construction/Awarded).

King County provides copies of bid documents at various locations including the County's Procurement Office. You can order a complete set or specific portions of the plans and specifications (ITB) at Plan Center Locations (27KB PDF).
