| 2 Addenda or Addendum |
Refers to documents issued by the County that change or modify the terms of a Solicitation. The term “Addenda” is also commonly referred to by the Federal Government as an “amendment”. |
| 3 Affidavit and Certificate of Compliance |
A state of compliance with King County Code (KCC) 12.16, Non- Discrimination and Affirmative Action in Employment. |
| 4 Apparent Low Bidder |
The firm which offers the lowest price in response to a call for bids. |
| 5 Authorization to Negotiate |
Memo which grants the Implementing Agency authorization to conduct negotiations with the top-ranked firm. (See also Selection Summary) |
| 6 Authorized Personnel |
Those employees given signature authority for certification of payment by the respective elected official, departmental director, agency head or division manager. |
| 7 Award |
Selection of the lowest responsible bid which meets all specification. |
