First Time User's Page
Since this is probably your first time on this site (you did hit the button!), here's a quick rundown of what you will find on the site and how to find what you are looking for. All King County Official Public Records are indexed by:

When you receive results for your search, you are presented with the indexing data as well as an option to download and view, print, or save an unofficial copy of the image of the document itself. There are help files for each type of record search that go into more detail about the specifics of that topic. Select the search type and then select the HELP tab. You may use a single criteria search or you can combine criteria to limit your search (for example last, first name and a date range search). When defining search criteria, put in only as much as you are sure about. If you enter too much (for example you enter John Anthony Smith), you may not find a recording for John Smith because it was not entered with the middle name. If you receive too many hits, try limiting your search by adding more specific criteria. Be sure to check back with us from time to time as this site will constantly be updated (with the help of your suggestions!).
