Crime Statistics

Good information helps citizens and police make decisions about law enforcement in our communities. The KCSO knows that different areas in the county have individual crime trends, prevention needs, and law enforcement priorities.

The KCSO keeps track of crime information based on geographic areas called patrol districts. Several geographically-linked districts are referred to as a sector, and they in turn form our precincts.
