Crime Prevention
When a crime happens, the KCSO will be there. But wouldn’t it be better if we could prevent the crimes from happening? We can — by working together! Community Oriented Policing recognizes the need for understanding on both sides, and for a partnership to make it work.

Citizen efforts are the key to crime prevention. We encourage you to follow these suggestions and share them with your family, friends, and neighbors. If you have questions, please contact your local KCSO precinct or Police Department Crime Prevention Officer.
